I don’t really know where to start with this post. I get a little emotional thinking about this new experience 
Luckily, a couple of months ago I decided to invest in my growth as a photographer and this business. It was the best decision! I knew it would be a great learning experience but it was even better than I imagined. Everyday I strive to be better, I want to give my clients the best experience and I want them to looooove their images after their wedding day. This is why I knew investing in a photographer workshop was a must do in my journey. When I signed up, I really didn’t even consult with anyone (and I am an over thinker) I just registered and paid. Done and Done. Of course again, I knew a workshop with one of the best wedding photographer’s out there was going to be worth every penny and it was AND THEN SOME! Oh heeeey Jasmine Star! She not only inspires you and teaches you to be great at your photography and business, but I feel like in general she just inspires you to be better all around in everything you do in life. The same goes for her awesome partner in life JD, who is so willing to offer his help, willing to make this whole experience better for you. Most know I am a people person, I love people who teach, inspire and are go-getters of their dreams. She is that, so I knew a workshop to learn from this type of person was a great fit for me. Then you put me in the mix with other photographers that want to grow and be better, I was in heaven! I mean there is nothing better than to learn from all of these people. All of us are different, but our common ground was we have a dream of doing this and we are going after it. This group was awesome. They were ready to learn and help each other. Sometimes following a dream or goal is lonely. Many people don’t dare to go on that path, so you find yourself alone trying to prove yourself. It is not easy, this is why I am thankful for experiences like this because you realize you are not alone and you meet people who understand. I feel blessed to have experienced this with such a cool group of people. To all of them and the reason we came together Jasmine Star and JD, Thank you! I thank you for adding to my life and making me a better wedding photographer. Hugs!

This might be one of my favorites of the day…. LOOOOVE. 
When I arrived to see Jennifer the morning of the wedding she was calm, quiet, not nervous just READY, ready to see Carlos. The minute she saw her groom-to-be her laughter and smiles came out, she completely changed and was so much more herself. I love to see them together because what they bring out in each other is awesome. I love these two and I fell a little harder when I heard they wanted to do a first look. This moment is so special and one of a kind, I love that they made time for it. They also made time after the ceremony for more pictures at their amazing location, The Hacienda. I mean this couple was a photographer’s dream, they realized they wanted time for pictures and they made the time. I had soooo many favorites from this wedding, I had to narrow it down to what I loved and boy was it hard.

A couple of weeks ago I mentioned I 2nd shot a beautiful wedding in Santa Barbara. Finally I am posting these pictures. I don’t know where to even start with this couple. They are FREAKING adorable. In love, best friends and they are perfect for each other. I shot this wedding with the amazing Vivian Sachs and I am so thankful to have met her!! Because the details of this wedding are to die for, I am doing a one and two-part post. I can’t help it!! Annie, the bride is also an up and coming photographer and from the moment I met her I knew we would be friends. She is such a sweetheart and willing to jump on any task to get things done. Don, I have known for years and when Annie came into his life it was obvious how happy she made him, how much she changed his life for the better. Their story is quite unique, they were set up on a blind date, neither one of them went there with the intention of this going anywhere. Well here we are years later and I am blogging their wedding day . One of my favorite things about this wedding was the tradition they kept for their culture and families, which is why this had to be a two-part blog. The details, the color, the family and the love are all so special.

From the moment I met Cristina and Roy there was one thing about them I have always remembered, they make each other laugh… a lot. It is pretty awesome to watch. They have their own jokes, their own little language, they truly make each other happy. Their laughter and love for one another could not be more clear on their wedding day. It was a perfect day with everyone they love.
Cristina and Roy, thank you! I know we will be in each other lives for a long time but getting to document your unique love for one another was very special. I feel blessed. XO!

Nick and Carrie’s wedding day was perfect, just as perfect as they are together. I know I said this in their last post , but really it is so clear why they belong together. Their wedding just reflected exactly who they are. They had a BEAUTIFUL wedding in the OC. Simply them. When I arrived to the hotel room where the girls were getting ready, Carrie was exactly like I know her, calm and collected. Smiling away, just enjoying the day. Nick exactly the same. Hanging with the guys ready to celebrate the day. My absolute favorite moment was when they walked down the aisle after the ceremony with Gianna. The 3 of them!! Their ceremony was done, official and they were complete. I am telling you all, Gianna is to DIE for! She truly is their blessing.
